These beautiful wooden puzzles are
handcrafted with love in the USA by artisans living and working in a
Waldorf-inspired special needs community. In six houses clustered
around an Organic Dairy Farm, people with a variety of abilities live in
extended families. Together they operate the farm, a large garden,
a bakery, a woodshop, make candles, cards, puzzles and more. The
efforts and profits help to sustain this wonderful community.
Imagine five special needs artisans, seated around a table, creating
beautiful puzzles. They talk of the garden, the snow, the
sun. They talk of their dreams and joys. They sand and they
paint. They remember to hold the brush gently and stroke the
puzzle like a cat. They concentrate on mixing the colors for a
perfect green. They admire the grain on the wood and the glow of
the colors. As a result, each puzzle is a unique,
individually handmade piece of art; colors and finish vary with each puzzle. Each
puzzle comes to you from each artisan with love and devotion. Your
purchase of each hand-made puzzle means a great deal to the individual
