Step Rocking Boat

Our Step Rocking Boat is a sturdy, beautifully crafted and versatile wooden ride-on toy.  When we first saw this rocking boat in action we were amazed at how completely it captured the children's attention for many different types of imaginative, active play.  Children enjoy rocking back and forth on the rocking boat just as though they are rocking on the ocean waves.  (Add a Sarah's Silks fishing game and they can go fishing over the side of the boat!)  Turn it over and it becomes a sturdy set of stairs; children as young as two especially enjoy climbing up and down the stairs, having great fun while they develop coordination and motor skills.

It can also be easily placed on its side and pushed against a wall where it can double as a book shelf or display shelf when it is not in use for boat or step play.  We have also seen children turn it into a library desk, a play store counter, and a diner counter (where a real lunch was happily served.)

Our Wooden Rocking Boat / Steps is excellent for developing coordination and promoting reciprocal play, but we love it mostly because children love it!

Features strong construction; smooth, fully rounded edges; and durable, washable finish.
