Nick Drake - Pink Moon (CD)
We can't explain how or why this is, but the song "Pink Moon" (and most of the other songs) on Nick Drake's Pink Moon CD has worked like a charm to help all of our babies to stop crying, almost instantly. We keep one Pink Moon CD in our car, and one in our home. On car trips if our baby is crying and nothing else has consoled baby, we put "Pink Moon" on and for us it has worked like a charm. We wanted to share this in case you have a baby who is prone to bouts of crying. We have found "Pink Moon" to be much more lovely than the sound of a hair dryer, and it worked better than many of the "stop your baby from crying" CDs in our experience. (We "discovered" the song "Pink Moon" years ago when it was featured on a VW convertible Cabrio commercial; the VW was driving along a winding road surrounded by woods on a moonlit night, top down, to the music of "Pink Moon" . . .
