(These storage bags are also perfect for storing the imported Kapla building blocks -- no longer available in the USA. If you already have some Kapla blocks and need storage for them, these bags will work perfectly. Also if you would like to add on to existing Kapla blocks but can't get more of them, be assured that the KEVA Planks can be used interchangeably with the Kapla blocks. We have both kinds at home and we use them all together in building. In our opinion the KEVA planks hard wood Maple is better, longer-lasting quality than the soft pine Kapla blocks were, and we are thrilled that the Keva planks are MADE IN THE USA of USA materials. As of February 2009, it appears that KAPLA blocks in France is no longer shipping to the USA (and has not shipped to the USA since prior to FALL 2008). KEVA BLOCKS ARE JUST LIKE KAPLA BLOCKS IN SIZE AND DIMENSION, but the KEVA BLOCKS ARE MADE IN THE USA OF PRECISION-CUT, SMOOTH, NATURAL, Midwest USA HARD WOOD (MAPLE) -- a more durable material than the Kapla marine pine soft wood. We have both types of blocks and use them together; we have found that the KEVA blocks hold up much better over time (the KEVA blocks are hard wood and don't dent or get dinged while the KAPLA blocks are soft marine pine and tend to show the wear). Also we LOVE the beautiful color of the KEVA Planks Maple wood. We are always looking for the best-quality toys made in the USA; KEVA Planks are a fantastic value that also supports USA jobs!
