She is wearing exquisitely detailed clothing, from her midnight starry sky blue velvet dress adorned with embroidered golden stars and golden lace and trim, to her 
matching blue shoes and sparkling velvet headband. 

Kathy Kruse Sophie Sterntaler - Long Blonde Hair - 16.5"

Sophie Sterntaler is a beautiful play doll, and she can sit as well as stand alone.  She has the sweetest expression hand-painted in the classic Kathe Kruse style, with pretty blue eyes and long blonde kanekalon hair that is easy to maintain and wonderful to brush and style.    Her body is soft cloth with a high quality vinyl swivel head, arms and legs.  She weighs approximately one pound.  Her clothes are exquisite.  She is wearing a soft midnight blue velvet dress, with embroidered golden stars, and golden ribbon trim; ribbed white cotton tights, navy blue shoes to match her dress, and a matching headband with sparkling stars.  Little Sophie Star Catcher is kind and generous and so she has been able to catch a lovely shimmering golden star to bring with her as a gift.  She arrives in a sturdy box perfect for gift-giving. 16.5" tall.  For children ages 3+ (and a great gift for the Kathe Kruse collector)!  Made in Germany.
