The bed is nice and fat (larger, fluffier, and at 9 in. x 5.5 in., longer than it might appear in the photo above.) The music box itself is snuggled inside lots of thick organic cotton stuffing.

The cheerful organic gnome doll can be removed from the bed to be held by baby as a grabbing doll. (The Organic Gnome doll itself is a little towel doll-style grabbing doll - not stuffed.) The music box is safely hidden inside the pillowy, soft ORGANIC cotton bed. The bed is covered with softest organic cotton jersey fabric with little moons, stars and clouds printed on the front, and has softest organic cotton flannel (also white) on the back, and is stuffed with organic cotton. SO SOFT! Organic cotton really is amazingly softer than cotton that is not organic. The music box plays a pretty Schubert lullaby. This charming Waldorf doll with organic cotton music box bed makes a wonderful baby gift for babies six months and up. Organic Gnome Bed Music Box Measures approx. 9 in. x 5.5 in. wide. Kathe Kruse organic cotton is cultivated in keeping with biodynamic economics and is free of all synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. The organic cotton is picked by hand and mechanically cored, and is spun in a modern mill without chemical agents. The thread is either natural or dyed with chemical-free, naturally reactive colors, free of heavy metals and organic halogens. When mechanically equipping the thread, no chemicals are used.
