Many of us made potholders on a loom like this when we were children. It’s one of those wonderful old fashioned inventions still popular and useful today. It’s fun, and easy to do for all ages!  

Children enjoy making colorful potholders, and it provides a wonderful first hands-on weaving experience, that also fosters math skills (counting and alternating rows), and hand-eye coordination, but mostly it's just lots of fun!  Children become absorbed as they carefully select colors and create a design.

Each of our potholder kits include instructions and also include lots of craft ideas.  (Sew six of them together to create a placemat; fold one in half and sew up two sides to create a little doll sleeping bag; create an area rug; create a little purse.  The instructions include lots of fun ideas using potholders.)

Our Potholder Looms are metal, not plastic, and they are made in the USA!  They also feature an improved peg design so the loops won’t slip off as easily while you weave.
